Original press photograph from June 9, 1932. Excellent condition, measures 9 inches x 7 inches, clean, sharp corners, no folds or creases. Depicts Lewis “wrapping up” Dick Shikat during their match at the Madison Square Garden Bowl. This is a historic match between Ed “Strangler” Lewis and Richard Dick Shikat. It was June 9, 1932 and two of the greatest catch wrestlers of all time faced off in the MSG Bowl. This match was for the NYSAC version of the Heavyweight Championship.
