He lost the title on September 8, 1950 to Sandy Saddler. He retired after losing to Calvin Woodland on March 16, 1966 with a final record 230-11-1 with 65 KO’s. Presented here is a signed photo. Signed in bold black sharpie. Great image of a leaping Pep battling his nemesis Sandy Saddler.

Willie Pep Autographed Photo (vs. Sandy Saddler)

Willie Pep and Sandy Saddler were two of the greatest fighters in boxing history and among the all time greats in the featherweight division. Both held the coveted world title in that division and they met in the ring four times with the title on the line. Saddler won three of the four fights stopping Pep on each occasion. Pep won once, a 15 round unanimous decision.
