This was the opening show at the HIPPODROME as a new sports arena! 

Ed “Strangler” Lewis, after 20 years of campaigning, was brought in as the top headliner against the young up and coming, Lee Wycoff out of St, Louis, in the feature match. Lewis had already held the World’s Championship on 4 different occasions at this point. This match was part of an elimination tournament calculated to clear up the muddled situation that surrounded the championship.
Also, of note is the new grappler on the scene…BULL CURRY!!
